When I drove to Michigan three years ago, I crossed the southern bordeer from Ohio and suddenly - all American cars. It was freaky. I was driving my Pontiac that time or I'd have been worried I'd get whisked away by the Ferin' Car Patrol! Over the past few years, the number of foreign-made cars has increased slightly, but it's still a HUGE ratio. Whereas before it was around 1:53, now it's about 5:53. I saw a white Z once before in the Farmington Hills area, and that's about it for Zs I've seen in MI.
